Hi readers!
Some people think that the zoo is for young people but it’s wrong!!! There is no maximum age to visit a zoo because last Saturday we did. It’s located in Phoenix Park. It was the opportunity for us to take a walk in Phoenix Park. The main entrance is located in Dublin 7, near the Criminal Courts of Justice.
Dublin Zoo is the largest zoo in Ireland and one of Dublin’s most popular attractions. It is separated into 9 parts: Asian Forests, Play Forest, Fringes of the Arctic, African Savana, Gorilla Rainforest, Chimpanzee Island, Kaziranga Forest Trail, Reptile House, and the Family Farm. For my part, my favorite area was Asian Forest because you can see the biggest felines. Antonin said that his favorite animal was the Red Panda because it was the first time he saw one. There are two negative points I can think about this zoo: the first one is the difficulty to take a picture of animals due to the safeguards between animals and us such as grids or safety windows. The second negative point is the construction of new animal enclosure and because of that we didn’t see some animals initially present like Chilean Flamingo or Hippopotamus.
On the end of this Saturday afternoon, we took a walk in Phoenix Park. This park is one of the largest walled city parks in Europe (around 1,750 acres the equivalent of 707 hectares). There, we admired the Wellington Monument and some beautiful landscapes. We heard that in this park you can see some wild deer but it wasn’t our lucky day.
We plan to come back in the Phoenix Park to take some picture of wild deer.

See you in two weeks!
Antoine
